Procedure
From history to the tattoo.
A concept tattoo is not created in an hour. Here you can see what to expect – from the first message to the healed skin.
Step by step
This is how your concept tattoo is created.
-
Inquiry
You send me your story, the placement on your body, and the approximate size via the form. The more personal, the better. References are welcome, but not required.
-
Feedback & Assessment
I read every request myself. If your project is a good fit, you will receive an honest assessment regarding implementation, scope, and a project price.
-
Deposit & Appointment
With the deposit dependent on the project price, your appointment is firmly reserved. It will be deducted from the final price.
-
Concept
I will develop your design, individually tailored to you and your body part.
- Translating your story into symbols and perspective
- Customized to the shape and movement of the body part
- You will see the design at your appointment
-
The day
We will look at the concept together, make final adjustments, and place the stencil until everything is just right. Then we will begin tattooing.
- Plan for enough time
- Bring snacks and water
- Companions are allowed, but please not the whole family
-
Healing & Aftercare
You will receive clear aftercare instructions. If you have any questions during the healing process, I am available to help. [Touch-up: free of charge within 6 months]

Questions about the process
How long does a session last?
That always depends on the project, but it is roughly estimated beforehand.
Does a fine-line tattoo hurt?
The pain varies depending on the part of the body, but is generally quite bearable.
How long does a concept tattoo take to heal?
Surface healing usually takes 1.5-2.5 weeks, complete healing takes about 4 weeks. Everything else will be explained to you on site.
