Mainhattan & Focus: My Guest Spot in Frankfurt
From last Tuesday to Friday, I was in Frankfurt am Main for a guest spot as PMT | Sketch. Four days, four very special appointments, and a lot of good vibes in a city that has its own unique dynamic for me.
When you travel as a tattoo artist, it’s not just about working in a different chair. It’s about exchanging ideas with new people, settling into a foreign studio atmosphere, and the ambition to maintain 100% precision and composure for your projects even while on the road. That is exactly what I got to experience in Frankfurt.

The projects: Details & clear contrasts
The first two days were planned for two individual fine-line and concept projects. Every skin tells its own story, and it is special every single time to see how a design becomes a lasting work of art under the skin, step by step. The chemistry with the clients on-site was great; focused work, good conversations, and results that everyone is happy with.
The highlight: A two-day wanna-do backpiece
The absolute centerpiece of the week awaited me on Thursday and Friday: a large-scale wanna-do backpiece, spread across two consecutive long tattoo sessions.
A backpiece over two full days is not just a test of patience and stamina for me as a tattoo artist, but above all a mental and physical achievement for the client. From the fine contours of the first lines to the shaded details and rich blacks on the second day—the design now perfectly fills the back, fits the anatomy seamlessly, and embodies exactly the look that PMT | Sketch stands for: clear structures, fine details, and uncompromising aesthetics.
