Why I was a police officer and now tattoo

Sometimes you have to leave the security of the familiar to find the freedom of creativity. Many of you know me as the mind behind pmtsketch, but few know the journey that led me there.

Order vs. Chaos – How it all began

For years, my daily life was defined by uniform, discipline, and service in the police force. It was a secure job, but deep down there was this urge to create something lasting – not in files, but on skin.

Why the change?

The desire to give people a voice that goes beyond words was stronger than the security of civil servant status. For me, tattooing is about:

• Individuality: Every person is unique, and so should their tattoo be.

• Precision: I have retained my police precision – today I use it for fine-line and micro-realism.

• Connection: Today I listen to understand stories, not to write reports.

What this means for you

When you come to me, you meet someone who knows what responsibility means. Hygiene, absolute concentration, and an eye for the smallest detail are not a bonus for me, but standard.
